TeleRehab Advantage has the unique capability of being used as a remote monitoring system. The telemedicine feature can be added at any time to expand your cardiopulmonary rehabilitation to remote locations (physician offices, clinics, satellite facilities, homes) using Transtelephonic Monitoring via existing phone lines.
This telemedicine component will allow your program to reach patients who otherwise would not be able to complete a rehab program and provide you with a means to improve clinical outcomes and the economics of your rehab program without incremental headcount. All of the features and functionality of the TeleRehab II telemetry system are also provided by the remote monitoring application.
ScottCare’s technology allows traditional cardiopulmonary monitoring to be performed on patients within or outside of the hospital setting, simultaneously if desired. This allows the provider to achieve maximum utilization of existing facilities and human resources, while improving patient compliance and program economics. Monitoring can be performed in satellite facilities, physician offices, or in patient homes, both safely and effectively.
